While looking at the PFLI web site, I came across AUL Vice President & Legal Director Denise M. Burke’s piece on FOCA.  It inspired me to write my Congressman and Senators the following:

"Dear Senator (or Congressman)  XXXXX:

I beseech you to reconsider both your sponsorship and support for the so-called Freedom of Choice Act, as it eliminates both - freedom and choice.  This legislation does not represent my views, or the views of the majority of Americans.

For those who object to their tax dollars being spent on morally objectionable actions (funding abortion), this act is tyrannical.  For those not yet born, it denies a basic right granted by the constitution and Almighty God: the right to life.

Please reconsider your position on this bill.  I'm sure the framers and patriots, who died establishing this great nation, would have questioned the sacrifices they made, had they known the country they suffered to give birth to, would sponsor legislation that contains the language and intent of this bill.

Please understand that their is no constitutional right to abortion, even though the Supreme Court invented one in Roe v. Wade.
