Abortion, Healthcare, and Social Upheaval: Pro-Life Leaders to Discuss
Backlash -- Including Potential of Unwanted Violence -- DC Press
Conference Set for Tuesday Jul 21
DC Pro-life leaders to discuss potential convulsions if congress tries
to force Americans to pay for the murder of unborn babies.

WASHINGTON, July 20 /Christian Newswire/ -- DC Pro-life leaders to hold
press conference discussing potential backlash - including the potential
of unwanted violence - if Congress votes to take taxpayer money to kill
the innocent.

      *Press Conference Details---*

*Where: *National Press Building, 529 14th Street NW, Washington, DC

      *When: * 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 21

      *Who:* Leaders to be present:
      Randall Terry, Founder. Operation Rescue
      Missy Smith, President, W.A.K.E.U.P.
      Ruby Nicdao, Chairman, Life Guard,
Dick Retta, President, Our Mother for Life
      A Catholic Priest
A leader from the "tea party movement."
      And more...

Randall Terry states:

"If Congress votes to fund the murder of babies by abortion in any
'health care' bill - either explicitly or implicitly -- there
      could be horrific consequences.

"Pelosi and company cannot expect millions of Americans to betray
God, and to pay for the murder of their neighbor without something
snapping. They must not delude themselves: Congress runs the real
risk of national convulsions that have not been seen since the
60s, or perhaps since the civil war if they try to compel
Americans to pay for the murder of the innocent.

"If they attempt to fund abortion, it is tantamount to the
government putting a gun to taxpayers' heads to force them to pay
for the brutal murder of an innocent child. There are many of us
      who will not comply."

A proposed constitutional amendment that would protect the rights of
embryos is advancing. On Thursday, the personhood amendment proposal got
the approval of legislative staffers assigned to review and make
recommendations on all ballot measures. Next it must be reviewed by the
state title board, which makes sure that all voter initiatives only
address a single topic. The proposed amendment says the term "person"
would apply to every human being "from the beginning of the biological
development of that human being."

The Democratic-controlled House of Representatives has passed a bill
that allows the District of Columbia to fund abortions and legalize the
consumption of marijuana for medicinal purposes, but phases out a
school-voucher program designed to help lower-income class parents send
their children to a school of their choice.

Earlier this month, Personhood USA, along with the American Life League,
launched personhood initiatives in Colorado and Montana, "seek[ing] the
passage of state constitutional amendments that would define every human
being as a human person under state law, from the beginning of their
biological development," an American Life League report declared.
